Speech & Articulation
For children who are hard to understand, or who drop, swap or distort certain sounds. I work on everything from single sounds to sound patterns and motor speech difficulties such as childhood apraxia of speech.
Speech, language and communication support in English for children, teens and adults. If you're not sure which of these fits, that's what the intro call is for.
For children who are hard to understand, or who drop, swap or distort certain sounds. I work on everything from single sounds to sound patterns and motor speech difficulties such as childhood apraxia of speech.
For children who have trouble following directions, finding the right words, building sentences or telling a story. With younger children we often start through play and daily routines, with coaching for parents. With bilingual children, I look at both languages to distinguish a language difficulty from typical bilingual development.
For autistic children and teens, and others who find conversation, social cues or friendships hard. Younger children often start through play. With teens we work on peer relationships, self-advocacy and handling school situations.
For children who need more than speech to communicate, from picture boards to speech-generating devices. Parents often ask whether AAC will stop a child from talking. Research says no, and it can help speech develop.
For students who need stronger English for school: vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing and explaining ideas clearly.
For children, teens and adults who stutter. We work on easier, less tense speech and on the confidence to speak up in the situations that matter most.
For voices that tire easily, sound strained or don't carry. We work on healthy voice use and breath support, and I'll recommend an ENT if something needs a medical look.
For people whose attention, memory or organization gets in the way of communicating at school, at work or at home. We build practical strategies and routines that fit daily life.
For adults who want their English to be easier to understand at work or in daily life. We focus on the specific sounds, stress and rhythm that matter most to you. The goal is clarity, not erasing your accent.
For adults who want more confidence using English at work, socially or in everyday life, including conversation, vocabulary and expressing ideas clearly.
